Fibrus Launch Road Safety Campaign to mark World Day for Safety and Health at Work
The annual World Day for Safety and Health at Work, 28th April, promotes the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally.
As Fibrus Networks Ltd continue on its exciting journey to transform the digital infrastructure of rural and regional areas of the UK, we would like to take this opportunity to promote our new initiative focusing on the importance of Road Safety.
Message from John Evans, Head of HSEQ at Fibrus:
“At Fibrus, the safety of our people is our number one priority. Each day our Fibrus and our partners are working across numerous rural and urban roads and footpaths in the UK. They are all doing a tremendous job in what can be a hazardous environment. We want to support their achievements by promoting a safe working environment through a new Road Safety Campaign which focuses on ensuring everyone that works on behalf of Fibrus are kept safe each and every day”
The Fibrus Road Safety Campaign which will run from 28th April to 28th July aims to:
- Promote safe temporary traffic management systems when working on public highways
- Raise awareness regarding the potential risks of working within a temporary traffic management system
- Share the message to members of the public to be considerate when safely navigating through temporary traffic management systems
Fibrus have chosen World Day for Safety and Health for the launch of its campaign and as part of the delivery Fibrus will be working closely with our partners and local stakeholders to promote the campaign through seminars, toolbox talks, signage and a new poster campaign.
We look forward to your support!
