Fibrus becomes 2022 Paddock Partner at NW200
Motorcycle road racing action will return to Northern Ireland’s north coast in 2022 with the North West 200 race week festival on May 8-14.
The world’s leading road racers will renew their acquaintance with the famous 8.9 mile Triangle road circuit that links the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine after a two year enforced absence caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. It will also be the first international road race to take place since action at all the world’s leading events came to an abrupt halt in March 2020.
Colin Hutchinson, Chief Finance Officer as Fibrus said: “We are thrilled to be joining the team at the North West 200 as Paddock Partner for this year’s event. It has been three long years since we got to see road racing stars on the circuit, so we are sure this year’s event is going to be bigger, better and more popular than ever.
“Fibrus has been active in the North Coast for over a year, bringing our new full fibre broadband network to local homes and businesses. We hope our partnership with NW200 will give us the opportunity to meet more people, show you what we’re about, and of course, enjoy the famous racing spectacle for ourselves.
“High speeds aren’t the only thing we have in common. The North West 200 connects racing fans with each other in a special way, just as we are connecting communities right across Northern Ireland thanks to our world class full fibre broadband service. Our partnership is a perfect fit."
Speaking at partnership launch Mervyn Whyte of the NW200 said: “We are delighted to have the backing of Fibrus for 2022. The company will have a presence in the paddock during race week, allowing fans to find out more about the broadband supplier’s services.”
