Are you familiar with managing or supporting the implementation of ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and associated management systems, ISO Standards, GDPR etc, within your organisation?

Do you enjoy using your planning and influencing skills to achieve your organisation’s compliance goals? As an ISO Project Manager you will collaborate with all areas of the business to deliver on our ISO aspirations.

  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels within the organisation, to define and achieve mutual understanding of the project scope.
  • Work with the team to identify and schedule all the work required to fulfil the scope, building a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Perform a gap analysis to determine state of processes and procedures.
  • Develop project plan to address gaps in processes and procedures
  • Define the Quality Policy, including review periods and quality gates
  • Define the Quality Objectives - what does success look like
  • Compile Quality Manual - encourage employee engagement to improve overall operational processes.
  • Demonstrate need to remove inefficient practices Establish Documented Procedures
  • Embed Quality Culture
  • Plan the project(s) in sufficient detail to ensure integration of all activities, identification of cross-portfolio dependencies, and understanding of critical paths and key milestones
  • Ensure non-people resources are identified so that the project budget will be accurate and remain affordable.
  • Ensure all necessary cross-functional resources are identified and ensure that all resources understand their roles and accept their responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day management for the project – time, cost and quality in line with APM framework
  • Ensure there is a robust process in place for risk and issue management instigating mitigation actions and identifying contingency plans to keep the project on track
  • Using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, establish and manage an effective project reporting structure to measure and track project performance
  • Ensuring there's full compliance with all relevant internal and external HSQE requirements and our ISO accreditations.
  • Leading our procurement schedule, making sure the right suppliers are engaged for each project.

  • Demonstrable experience in project management; direct experience of managing and supporting the implementation of ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and associated management systems, ISO Standards, GDPR etc, within your organisation
  • Proven track record of delivering projects to time, cost and quality
  • Experience of different project management approaches e.g. agile and waterfall
  • Outstanding communications skills to establish effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills including scope and schedule management
  • Risk and Issue Management experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to rapidly analyse client situations and tailor appropriate responses to fit them .
  • Able to think commercially, whilst also able to see where to add value
  • Committed to producing quality outputs down to the finest details, including impeccable documentation formatting and presentation.
  • High-level of IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office tools and MS Project
  • Able to solve problems in a measured and creative way.
  • Undertake tasks with a positive attitude and respond well to management and client requests.
  • Education in a relevant field (desirable)
  • Professional qualification in project management, such as APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or another recognised qualification e.g. Prince2 or PMP (desirable)

You would be joining a team of dedicated and passionate people who work super hard every day to improve the lives of those in our own communities by transforming the local digital infrastructure, starting in Northern Ireland, but we are very excited to be expanding our reach to the North of England as well!
