JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator

JOB LOCATION: NI/UK

TERMS: Permanent; hybrid working

 THE JOB

Due to expansion, we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to assist the Strategic Programmes team in coordinating relevant activities in Project delivery, ensuring all workstreams are delivered on time, within budget/scope and to the agreed quality standards.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for the following areas and activities:

  • Supporting on all aspects of strategic Projects to ensure key deliverables remain on track
  • Working within our BDUK contracts (government subsidy programmes), supporting in ensuring all business departments are aligned to the vision to deliver our objectives
  • Assist with the the development of Project schedules/budgets, track progress against these and communicate updates to relevant parties
  • Develop and maintain Project documentation eg. status reports, meeting minutes, change logs, risk logs, lessons learned logs, end of stage reviews, Project Initiation Documents and Project Closure Documents
  • Contribute to the collation of information and draft presentations for senior stakeholders (internal and external) including detailed use of MS Excel to include manipulation and analysis of large data sets
  • Supporting in the training and on-boarding of new team members

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • Team player comfortable with taking ownership of significant and high profile activities/deliverables
  • Execution focused, consistently delivering to a high standard
  • Strong organisation, multi-tasking and communication skills
  • Signficiant experience of planning and controlling activities effectively; reporting project progress, status, costs, and risks in a regular and timely manner, using appropriate tools and techniques, including timely escalation of risks to Management as needed; and developing and maintaining Project trackers/dashboards in order to provide useful insight to help drive decisions
  • Able to successfully manage relationships with internal and external facing stakeholders
  • An ability to operate across multiple teams and influence solutions
  • IT literate with significant working knowledge of MS Excel (including X-lookups, macros and pivot tables)
  • Experience in the Telecommunications sector coupled with PRINCE2/PMP, MS Power BI or similar is desirable.
