JOB TITLE: Fibre Ambassador – part time

JOB LOCATION: Banbridge

TERMS: Permanent on a part-time basis, 3 days per week. You may be required to work weekends. Travel/vehicle package to be discussed.

 

Are you based in Banbridge and passionate about your community, the surrounding areas and it’s development? 

If your answer is yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking confident individuals with the creativity, drive and determination to help us achieve our goals and benefit to communities.

Your prime focus will be to drive engagement, make sure everyone knows about the roll out of Full Fibre Broadband in rural areas, stimulate demand in targeted areas in which the service is planned to be delivered.

You will be responsible for working closely with local communities and raising awareness of Hyperfast NI’s Full Fibre Broadband Network.

If successful, you will take part in local events, social meetings and attend Agricultural Shows when required to ensure a successful understanding of Hyperfast NI’s Full Fibre Network.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Building a network and influencing at a local level, including local community groups linking to local initiatives.
  • Being the voice and face of Hyperfast NI’s Full Fibre Broadband Network.
  • Identify potential areas to place marketing material, such as local shops, public houses and schools etc.
  • Be able to communicate with different levels, local stakeholders - this may include engaging with local councillors, MPs and talking directly to local residents and shop owners.
  • Managing enquires from your local area.
  • Record and report on your daily activities.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • Proven engagement experience, this could be from a range of sectors including retail, charity D2D, promotions, energy market, surveys or economic development for instance.
  • You will be a people person and a natural communicator – we can teach you the rest!
  • Passionate about your community and it’s development.
  • Previous use of CRM reporting systems, not essential as training will be provided
  • The understanding of MS Excel is an advantage, not essential as training will be provided
  • Driving licence
